Participants receive a daily stipend while they deepen their understanding of food insecurity, examine the issue of food waste, and share teaching expertise and ideas for skills-based activities for use throughout the year.

Educators who complete the 3-day training receive comprehensive lesson plans, recipes, and funding to complete two (2) KFKids projects in their classrooms during the 2025-26 school year.
