Royal Valley High School, Hoyt, KS

Mrs.  Litherland's FACS classes prepared meals of Chicken Fried Rice for families just before the 2024 winter holidays.   Their segment on their schools newscast begins at 0:35.

Liberty High School, Wentzville MO

58 students in Mrs. Pizzo's culinary classes prepared meals of Chicken Fried Rice for families in the Wentzville MO area.  Great job!!

Notre Dame Regional High School

FACS students in Cape Girardeau, MO prepared 1,000 servings of chicken & vegetable fried rice during Catholic Schools Week 2024.

Blue Springs School District

Family and Consumer Science students prepared 250 servings of chicken and vegetable fried rice with sesame green beans. They distributed the meals from their food truck to families in transitional housing. 

Herndon Career Center

Culinary students in Raymore, MO planned and prepared 600 servings of chicken jambalaya for families in their community.

Manual Career Tech Center, Kansas City

Culinary Students in the KCMO school district prepared 480 take-home meals of roast chicken, buttered baby carrots, and garlic soy green beans for families at YMCA Head Start of Greater Kansas City.

Belton, Missouri

Students in the Belton High School FCCLA (Family, Career & Community Leaders of America) prepared meals for families served by Heart-n-Hand Ministries and shared this video montage.

Broadmoor Bistro, Shawnee Mission School District

Culinary students piloted the first Kids Feeding Kids meal event.  They prepared 250 made-from-scratch chicken pot pies for families in their district and local social service agencies.
