Participants receive a daily stipend while they deepen their understanding of food insecurity, examine the issue of food waste, and share teaching expertise and ideas for skills-based activities for use throughout the year.

Educators who complete the 3-day training receive comprehensive lesson plans, recipes, and funding to complete two (2) KFKids projects in their classrooms during the next school year.

KFKids educators are recognized as innovative, educational leaders and may be called upon to share their expertise through conference presentations, professional networking groups, or media interviews.
